On February 10th, 2015, we sent our first package to the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) in Pittsburgh, PA for Valentines Day. This package included 19 crocheted hats, with felt hearts sewn for preemies. Each month, our contributions increased as well as the number of people who found this circle a wonderful way to share their talents. In August, over 150 beautiful hand-made gifts were distributed to 5 hospitals. Our first 12 months provided over 1,000 hand-made sewn, crocheted or knitted hats, cocoon sets, angel wraps, blankets, bonding hearts and chemo caps to NICU and cancer centers.
